The Akita Museum of Art building in the centre of Akita city was designed by internationally renowned architect Tadao Ando. Its unique triangular structure with skylight roof strives to unite Akita people with cultural creation in the downtown area.
The restrooms are also characterized by its modern simplicity design that matches the overall atmosphere of its stripped-back, concrete wall finishes.
